A definitive agreement was signed by the listed education technology business Veranda Learning Solutions to acquire equity shares of J K Shah Education through its subsidiary, Veranda XL Learning Solutions.

The stated deal will be executed in two stages. The first phase of the transaction will see Veranda Learning Solutions share price of 76% for Rs 337.82 crore, and the second phase will see it acquire the remaining in 2025. Veranda Learning Solutions Limited stated in a regulatory filing that a combination of debt and equity would be used to fund the entire acquisition.
