A consignment of red sandalwood arrives at the Yokohama port in Japan. This is where workers find Pushpa and are shocked to see him hidden inside one of the containers. After humiliating SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Pushpa rises to power. On the other hand, Shekhawat goes into hiding and secretly masquerades himself as a laborer. He then intercepts a massive sandalwood consignment. Meanwhile, Pushpa meets the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
However, he is denied a photograph with him as he wants to avoid political backlash. This offends Pushpa greatly and he angrily vows to topple the government. He plans to do so by making Sidhappa the Chief Minister by raising ₹500 crores through the sandalwood incident. This makes Pushpa strikes a deal with Central Minister Kogatam Veera Pratap Reddy.
What Does Pushpa Do Then?
Pushpa then meets an international buyer in the Maldives to sell 2,000 tons of sandalwood for ₹5,000 crores. In this, several others join Pushpa’s syndicate. However, in this, Mangalam Srinu and Dakshayani, along with Shekhawat, plot to sabotage the operation.
Soon, Shekhawat kills one of the syndicate members, causing fear among the others, who urge Pushpa to relinquish his leadership to Srinu. Pushpa, however, manages to use his tricks and ways to smuggle the sandalwood to Chennai until its final destination is in Sri Lanka. During the transport, Shekhawat catches up and shoots down all the trucks, forcing the drivers to escape.
What Follows?
The media, then, lauds Shekhawat for the raid. However, Srinu realizes that the load is not sandalwood but Sandra, a wood that resembles red sandalwood but holds no market value. This indicates that Pushpa had instead created bullock carts with the actual load and transported it to Chennai. This was indirectly aided by Shekhawat himself.
Shekhawat eventually obtained permission to track the consignment to Rameshwaram. However, he fails to capture it before it crosses the Indian-Sri Lankan border. Furious, he burns the storage site, seemingly killing himself in the blaze.

Meanwhile, Srivalli discovers she is pregnant and hears this. Pushpa celebrates. However, tragedy strikes when his niece, Kaveri, is assaulted during a festival and she is later kidnapped by Buggi Reddy, the nephew of Veera Pratap Reddy.
Very soon, Pushpa rescues her by killing Buggi and his gang. He lovingly reconciles with his estranged family, thus celebrating Kaveri’s wedding. However, a mysterious figure comes up to detonate a bomb at the wedding.
