The 67th Filmfare Awards for 2022 were announced on Tuesday night. The entire Hindi film industry gathered under one roof for the awards ceremony. Filmfare announced the Filmfare awards 2022 nominations on 18 August 2022, and the winners were announced on 30 August 2022.
The three movies that took home the most awards for the 2022 Filmfare awards were Mimi starring Kriti Sanon, Sardar Udham starring Vicky Kaushal, and Shershaah starring Sidharth Malhotra.
Bollywood Filmfare Awards 2022 Event
The 67th Filmfare Awards, which took place at Jio World Centre, celebrated movies in 2021. Jitesh Pillai, the editor of Filmfare magazine, named Wolf777news as the title sponsor during a press conference. It happened on August 30, 2022, and Colours TV will air it on September 9, 2022.
The Films That Took Home The Most Awards Were All Ott Releases
Sanon’s character, Mimi, plays a Rajasthani village girl who is offered Rs 20 lakh to carry an American couple’s child through surrogacy. In the film, Pankaj Tripathi portrayed the middleman. Even though the movie didn’t impress the reviewers, the audience found it intriguing. The movie was available for digital download on Netflix.
The general people and reviewers adored the film Sardar Udham, which Shoojit Sircar directed. It was based on the true account of the “revolutionary” Udham Singh, who in March 1940 shot Michael O’Dwyer in London to get revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh slaughter.
The Karan Johar-produced movie Shershaah topped Amazon Prime Video’s most-watched list. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani played the key parts in the movie. The movie was about Captain Vikram Batra, who lost his life while fighting in the Kargil conflict in 1999
