    67th Filmfare Award 2022: Exploring The List Of Winners

    The 67th Filmfare Awards for 2022 were announced on Tuesday night. The entire Hindi film industry gathered under one roof for the awards ceremony. Filmfare announced the Filmfare awards 2022 nominations on 18 August 2022, and the winners were announced on 30 August 2022.

    The three movies that took home the most awards for the 2022 Filmfare awards were Mimi starring Kriti Sanon, Sardar Udham starring Vicky Kaushal, and Shershaah starring Sidharth Malhotra.

    Bollywood Filmfare Awards 2022 Event

    The 67th Filmfare Awards, which took place at Jio World Centre, celebrated movies in 2021. Jitesh Pillai, the editor of Filmfare magazine, named Wolf777news as the title sponsor during a press conference. It happened on August 30, 2022, and Colours TV will air it on September 9, 2022.

    The Films That Took Home The Most Awards Were All Ott Releases

    Sanon’s character, Mimi, plays a Rajasthani village girl who is offered Rs 20 lakh to carry an American couple’s child through surrogacy. In the film, Pankaj Tripathi portrayed the middleman. Even though the movie didn’t impress the reviewers, the audience found it intriguing. The movie was available for digital download on Netflix.

    The general people and reviewers adored the film Sardar Udham, which Shoojit Sircar directed. It was based on the true account of the “revolutionary” Udham Singh, who in March 1940 shot Michael O’Dwyer in London to get revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh slaughter.

    The Karan Johar-produced movie Shershaah topped Amazon Prime Video’s most-watched list. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani played the key parts in the movie. The movie was about Captain Vikram Batra, who lost his life while fighting in the Kargil conflict in 1999

    • Best Male Debut award won by EthanBhat for 99 Songs as Jay

    • The Best Story award went to Abhishek Kapoor, Tushar Paranjape, and Supratik Sen for Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
    • Best Screenplay award won by Ritesh Shah and Shubendu Bhattacharya for Sardar Udham.
    • Best Dialogue award won by Dibakar Banerjee and Varun Grover for Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraars

    Music Awards

    • B Praak, Tanishk Bagchi, Jasleen Royal, Jaani, Javed-Mohsin, and Vikram Montrose won the Best Music Director for Shershaah.
    • Best Lyricist award went to Kausar Munir for “Lehra Do” (83)
    • Best Playback Singer (Male) award won by B Praak – “Mann Bharrya” (Shershaah)
    • Best Playback Singer (Female) award won by Asees Kaur – “Raataan Lambiya” (Shershaah)

    Technical Awards

    • The best Editing award went to A. Sreekar Prasad (Shershaah)
    • The best Production Design award went to Dmitrii Malich and Mansi Dhruv Mehta (Sardar Udham)
    • Best Choreography award went to Vijay Ganguly – “Chaka Chak” (Atrangi Re)
    • The best Cinematography award went to Avik Mukhopadhyay (Sardar Udham)
    • Best Sound Design award went to Dipankar Chaki, Nihar Ranjan Samal (Sardar Udham)
    • The best Background Score award went to Shantanu Moitra (Sardar Udham)
    • The best Costume Design award went to Veera Kapur EE (Sardar Udham)
    • The best Action award went to Stefan Richter, Sunil Rodrigues (Shershaah)
    • The best Special Effects award went to VFXwaala, Edit FX Studios (Sardar Udham)

    Many celebrities attended the 67th Filmfare Awards for 2022 night, including Katrina Kaif, Shehnaaz Gill, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sharvari Wagh. Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Varun Dhawan also attended the event.
