A New and Improved Smartphone Experience from Oneplus- The Nord 2T 5g

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, the newest member of the OnePlus Nord family, offers everything you could want in a new smartphone and more! The new edition significantly improves each of the OnePlus Nord 2’s well-loved flagship features, such as rapid charging, the MediaTek Dimensity processor, Sony’s imaging technology, and Oxygen OS, to give you an improved smartphone experience.

The OnePlus Nord 2T combines outstanding hardware and software to push the limits of what’s possible when it comes to an everyday smartphone,” said the OnePlus team.

“The OnePlus Nord 2T feels more luxurious because of its 80W SUPERVOOC, MediaTek Dimensity 1300, Sony IMX766 image sensor with optical image stabilisation, OxygenOS 12.1, and 80W SUPERVOOC components. A great price for a great product” said OnePlus founder Pete Lau.

Continue reading to see what makes the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G so unique in a time when the Indian smartphone industry is overrun with fresh releases.

The Oneplus Nord 2T 5g: Specifications

    Design and Performance

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G features new colour schemes, including jade fog and grey shadow. The sandstone back covers of the original OnePlus phones are reminiscent of the grey shadow colour variant. A smooth texture replaces the grainy and gritty texture of the original sandstone covers.

Regarding performance, the Nord 2T 5G settles for an average price-performance ratio. The system-on-chip powering this smartphone is not significantly different from or superior to the predecessor. However, there is a noticeable distinction between the two in terms of performance. The smartphone handles power activities without breaking a sweat and performs them effectively for daily tasks. In contrast to its forerunner, the smartphone does not get hot. It occasionally becomes warm, mainly when used frequently for jobs that require a lot of graphics and power but not to the point where it is uncomfortable to use and operate.

    High-Powered Battery

A faster battery charging rate is an improvement over the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G. The phone comes with an 80W SUPERVOOC fast-wired charger, which takes roughly 40 minutes to recharge the 4,500 mAh battery fully. It is one of the better fast-charging options available in the midrange segment. The smartphone operates for around a day on a single charge in terms of on-battery time.

    Amazing Photos and Videos

A triple-camera array with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens covers imaging. The phone sports a 32MP sensor up front. Since this is the exact camera arrangement from the predecessor, it provides a comfortable experience. The star of the show here is the primary camera sensor. All types of lighting work well with it. Although nice, the ultra-wide-angle sensor is not the greatest. The frames captured using the primary sensor and ultra-wide-angle sensor lack colour symmetry. In contrast to the primary sensor, the ultra-wide-angle sensor struggles in low light. The front camera performs admirably for both candid and formal photographs.

The Nord 2T 5G can capture videos in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second with its primary sensor, 1080p with its ultra-wide angle, and 1080p at 30 frames per second with its front camera. The primary sensor produces good-looking videos, while the ultra-wide sensor falls short, especially in low light.

    Pricing

India released the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G on July 5. You can purchase the smartphone online at OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, or at an OnePlus Experience store or an authorized partner store near you. There is a base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G available in India for Rs. 28,999, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Rs. 33,999.

    Final Verdict

The smartphone offers minor improvements in style, functionality, and charging speed. Still, many features have not changed from the previous model, making it more of a seasonal update. The Nord 2T may be the greatest smartphone in the OnePlus midrange line, but it isn’t the best in the segment because it falls short compared to other midrange smartphones released this year.
