    The E-Panchayat Mission Mode Project was used to construct the portal as part of the e Gram Swaraj Yojna by merging its features with existing apps.

    Applications like Priasoft, PlanPlus, and ActionSoft are included in the e Gram Swaraj portal. Panchayati Raj Institutions Accounting Software is referred to as Priasoft.

    Latest Updates on the E Gram Swaraj Portal

    For the fiscal year 2021–2022, about 2.54 lakh Gram Panchayat Development Plans were posted on eGS. The uploading of GPDPs is done by the panchayats using the eGS planning module.

    The eGS-PFMS Interface, often known as eGSPI, is used to make online payments to suppliers or service providers. Up to 2,32,190 panchayats have signed up for the e-Gram Swaraj – PFMS Interface and 1,99,235 panchayats have made online payments totaling more than Rs 70,000 crores, including all the signed up for programmes.

    The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has also launched “Audit Online”, an online tool that makes auditing panchayat accounts and keeping track of audit documents easier. It will guarantee prompt audit of gram panchayat accounts, including receipts and expenditures.
