On Monday, November 28, 2022, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, revealed the GATE 2023 Exam date. Candidates who will sit for the GATE exam in 2023 should check out the full exam schedule.
On August 30, 2022, IIT Kanpur made the official website link for submitting online GATE 2023 exam applications available to applicants. It has been decided that the GATE exam will be offered on weekends during the first two weeks of February 2023.
About GATE Exam
This test is known as GATE which stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is an exam to determine the graduates’ aptitude. The GATE Exam is a national engineering entrance test for Master’s programme enrolments, PSU recruitment, and other career options. The test will be administered in 29 disciplines in 2023. Candidates can select two subjects for the GATE exam, per the approved requirements.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur held the nationwide GATE 2022 examination. Each year, the GATE exam is alternatively administered by IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahati, Madras, Kharagpur, and Roorkee.
The GATE 2023 exam has two additional all-new questions in Geomatics Engineering and Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture.
Geomatics Engineering and Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture are two brand-new questions in GATE 2023. As a result, there will be 29 papers offered as alternatives to seek admission to IITs, NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions for the GATE exam 2023 examination rather than the previous 27 exams.
GATE 2023 Exam Date
According to the timetable, the GATE exam date 2023 will start on February 4 and end on February 12. The exam will be divided into two sessions: a morning session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and an afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
On January 3, 2023, the GATE 2023 Admit Card will be available on the official website. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is administered to applicants seeking admission to doctoral programmes and postgraduate programmes in relevant fields of art and science at institutions funded by the Education Ministry and other government agencies.
