On 16th August 2022, Toyota unveiled its new model car in India – the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The car is based on the Toyota Urban Cruiser SUV and is set to compete in the Indian market with the Mahindra XUV500 and the Tata Safari Storme.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces power and torque figures of 109 bhp and 205 Nm, respectively. This engine is basically mated for a 5-speed effective manual transmission.
The car is 4,445 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,650 mm and a ground clearance of 200 mm. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder has a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres and a kerb weight of 1,520 kg.
The car has LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, alloy wheels, roof rails, a rear spoiler, and a wiper. Inside, the car gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a multi-function steering wheel, and an 8-way adjustable driver’s seat. The price of the Toyota Urban Cruiser is Rs. 12.49 lakh. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is available in seven attractive colours: Café White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, Midnight Black, Cave Black, and Speedy Blue.
